  1. Sitting on a train, I find myself wondering how it's been 10+ years since #RoyalBlood's debut album was released - time flies...

Also: why is that album so damn good?

  2. I remember being curious about these back in the day - David's drawings of his experiments on Dr. Shaw, from Alien: Covenant.

    Crazy stuff...

  3. @davidshq I've built many such applications over the years. The ones built with are still quite easy to maintain, even 5+ years later - Vue 3 + + is a great stack to work with.

If you must JSX, then use . It's not a bad choice either, but maintaining the hook soup isn't fun in the long run.

  6. Working on a couple of sites built with and these days. Quite a powerful combination, even in what I’d call „hybrid“ mode (not all content/blocks of the site are pulled from the CMS).

Also got some interactive stuff in there that is used for. Everything’s type safe too which is pretty helpful.

Overall a pretty great set of tools to work with so far :blobcat:

  7. demo, fuck yes, let's go 🔥

  8. For the longest time, I considered Freelancer to be the best space sim/RPG hybrid I ever played.

Not sure yet if that's ever going to change, but comes pretty close so far. I'm only at level 13, but the game feels great, the ship classes/types/tiers seem pretty decent, combat is fast and snappy, and it's really fun as a whole so far.

Considering I snatched this game for <20€, I'm impressed, and I'll probably get the DLC as well.

  14. day today: the plan was 6x2@105kg, but I only managed 1 proper set - had to bail out of the 2nd set (thank you, power rack safety bars!), deload, and continue with 100kg.

1 week left on cycle 2 of , then doing a month of arm specialization, while keeping the big lifts on maintenance mode and deciding what long term program to tackle next.

  15. The nostalgia hits hard this week, should probably not have watched that cringy "Lords of Chaos" movie last Friday...

Writing atm and listening to early .
It's too hard to pick a favorite out of the first 4 albums, such consistency in their aggression. Would probably pick "Antichrist" just because of what it meant for my teenage self a long time ago.

  16. Gave this month's PS Plus games a try today:

: not bad, kinda like the "resident evil in space" vibe. But nothing to relax with on the other hand, adrenaline's pumping. Also some really weird looking graphic effects (i.e. fire) which seems weird for a '22 game.

: pretty cool, reminds me of , quite enjoyable after the first hour. Guess I'll stick with this one for now.

  23. Liftosaur is a pretty great tool, I'm getting into it these days as #gzclp and the usefulness of the matching spreadsheets is nearing its end.

I like the "code first" approach to programming (as in: defining a training program), and it's all free and open source. Folks can even treat their training plans like they do their dotfiles - tracked in git, shared with others, maintained collaboratively.

Can't quite believe that there's no mention of it anywhere here, 0 results for #liftosaur.

Anyway, check out liftosaur.com if you're curious.
