I'm trying to find some FFP2 mask with

• proper "around the back of the head" straps (not around the ears) (I have paper ffp2 masks but they interact super poorly with my glasses)
• low enough on the nose so glasses can stay in their normal position
• replaceable filters
• proper seal
• valve for outgoing air
• it's easy to hear me talking (I already own a 3M half mask and nobody can hear shit which means I never wear it anymore these days)

i'm probably searching for sth like a flomask, except less us-patriotic & with a valve

The idea is that fascism in its cultural form manifests in the body in the form of micro-fascisms: muscular armour, stooped shoulders, fear of intimacy, et cetera. Somaterapia is a practical and radical way of dealing with not just these symptoms, but of rooting fascism out from the source by creating healthier ways of worlding.

I'm a sucker for #KoreanDrama on #TV. I like the schmaltz, the melodrama, the whole deal. But #SisyphusTheMyth (a.k.a. #Sjipeuseu: The Myth) feels like something else.

It's got the cosmetic wrappings of a Korean Love Drama but I think at core it's a tightly-scripted, fun, twisty-turny #SF #TimeTravel story.

At first it might feel like it's being made up as the writers go along, but pretty soon it's clear it was all carefully plotted and designed by people who love them some #ScienceFiction. This gets a thumbs-up from me.

I highly recommend #LynnKurland's novels, in particular, her #dePiaget and #MacLeod series. Here's the kicker, the two series have a lot of crossovers, too!

What is the genre of the two series? It depends on the novel.

1. The most common is #romance and #romantic (the romantic “genre” isn't necessarily romance per se). Now, we are not talking about romance as most people assume, a girl is head over hills on a hunk guy who is a secret villain or a vampire. (aside: Nothing wrong with that particular sub-genre, I read those, too.)

2. #TimeTravel

3. #Historical

4. #Paranormal

5. #Fantasy

There is also a touch of #family and #relationships here and there.

The first book I've read was #DreamsOfStardust. It was so good, I bought every copy of it I saw and gave away for free to friends and colleagues. I recommend starting with it if you are new with Lynn Kurland's works.

You don't have to worry if you start in the middle, or the latest book. Each book is stand-alone. In some, you'll get hints of the greater universe, in some, you wouldn't even know it unless you read, or have read, the other novels.

For example, you can start with #OneEnchantedEvening and #OneMagicMoment. These are two are like twin books but at the same stand-alone.

Lynn Kurland is an American #author, and the de Piaget and MacLeod series are both set in the United Kingdom. The former is around England, while the latter is around Scotland.

But, trust me, don't look for a chronological order. The entire universe involves time travel here and there with paranormal, too. It is hard to have an anchor. Read the novels in any order you want.

The Netflix Germany TV show 1899 will be right up the alley of Tim Powers fans, a truly sweeping scope that ties the far past and the far future together into one persistent, complex New Weird mythos, one where you're legitimately never sure what's going to happen next. Strongly recommended to speculative fans!
