The news today had a story about how someday computers will be able to decode our thoughts. I'm pretty sure I saw an identical story 5 years ago. Come to think of it, I saw the exact same story five years before that. I'm pretty sure I've seen that exact same story every 5 years for the last couple decades. The stories don't change, they just repeat.
Yet, I know hundreds of people who believe the Japanese can already make videos of our dreams. 🤷🏻
