I really like it and can't wait for season 2. Season 1 was 30 episodes and basically all of Book one. While I did like the Netflix series, I liked this version much more.

I like to think of the 1978 film as a sequel to the film from 1956. It even has Kevin McCarthy (from the 1956 film), in a cameo fleeing from a crowd in fear (possibly the pod people).
The 1978 film is in my opinion, another pod people outbreak in a different town.

Absoluetly love this series and at least once a year I do a rewatch.
Usually I don't care for remakes/reboots and was hesitant to see this series. I saw a random episode when it was into it's 3rd season and loved it instantly.
