Could we possibly have a way to play music by local small artists and say show on a screen who’s playing and also to have a playlist folks could get if they want.
Imagine if this was just using all open tools or at least a more ethical option that Spotify.
Just an idea, would love peoples suggestions.

Changes to metro card prices for SA (school) students.
Word is that 28 day student pass is dropping from over $28 down to $10!
“As the $10 Student 28-Day Pass will now be cheaper than the Student 14-Day Pass, the 14-Day Student pass will be discontinued on 1 July 2025.”
Seems for everyone else prices are increasing by around 3% 🤷♂️
No luck for full time uni students either who as concession now need to fork out $59.60 for a 28-day pass.
Retired and semi-retired boomers still get to travel for free regardless of income or assets, so that’s one to celebrate. No hate on low income older people who need this.

@teq I'm trying to draw a through line from prefigurative approaches to organising and Otter Sharmers Theory U.
Like, Prefigurative is about envisaging the furture you want to see and working to bring that alive in the now.
Similarly, Theory U is an explicit methodology for 'presencing' into the furure and working through a practice that brings that into action in the now.
Inutivley they are very much related in my mind, but now Im struggling to find much academic cross over of the two concepts.
Any ideas/references/insights?
The short essay I'm trying to write just has this huge chasm in the middle of it right now!

A friend of mine booked international flights through booking.com called to make a change and the rep screwed up the change and now they are booked on the wrong day!
They’ve done days and days of calling and escalation but are getting the run around.
Question; is there a flights or travel #ombudsman or something like that they could call in #Australia?
The only one I could find is to complain directly about one of the local airlines.

A small group of us are working on community level hosting of 'self-hosted' FOSS tools (think #NextCloud and more) setup as a local service offering for local grassroots organisations. We're seeking advice/tips/guidance.
We're keen to do some orchastration but want to avoid the complexity of say Kubernetes.
As a start we were looking at Ansible with Docker Swarm but we're now exploring other alternatives.
Anyone have experience at this sort of hobbist just a bit bigger than #HomeLab Ops scale?

Anyone have experience at this homelab/small hosting level? Would love any tips/suggestions for tools/approaches.
