The Small-Area Global Elections (SAGE) dataset collects, geocodes, and harmonizes lower-house #parliamentary and #presidential returns for 110 countries and territories from 1948 to 2025, at the smallest unit each electoral authority publishes. It spans 585 country-elections and roughly ten billion votes cast across more than eight million units, and is at the polling station level in more than two-thirds of cases. Returns are released in a single long-format schema with standardized party identifiers that link to major comparative datasets, and every unit carries coordinates and, where available, boundary polygons.

Ainsi envisagée, elle se situe à l’opposé de toutes nos activités, exceptées peut-être la danse et la musique.

Quand nous faisons de la musique, ce n’est pas pour atteindre un certain point, qui serait, par exemple, la fin du morceau. Si tel était le but de la musique, le meilleur exécutant serait évidemment le plus rapide.

Et quand nous dansons, nous ne nous déplaçons pas pour atteindre un certain endroit, un lieu donné, comme en voyage. Quand nous dansons, c’est le voyage même qui est le but; quand nous faisons de la musique, c’est la musique qui est à elle-même sa propre fin.

Le mot « personne » en français comme en anglais, vient du latin persona, ce qui signifie ; ce au travers de quoi (per) le son (sona) passe. BTW, it would take wide consultation and at least a full day for me to figure out whether any "separate Access Agreement(s) or other agreement(s) (if applicable)" create exceptions allowing me to copy short passages "for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching… , scholarship, or research" -- to quote 17 USC §107, the US statute on fair use.

"Culinary ash seasoning dates back thousands of years. Just as smoke was an important, primal flavor that cues our original use of fire to transform raw ingredients into delicious foods, burning trees and the hard, inedible parts of plants is an ancient method of creating flavorful spices.

The tastes of ash seasoning vary depending on the plant used -- #corncobs, #sage leaves, #juniper berries, rose hips, #sumac -- and the ash adds color and interest to many dishes. To create ash, hold the food over a flame with tongs or set it on a grill or under a broiler, rotating it until it's thoroughly blackened. remove and place on a baking sheet until it is cool enough to handle.

Any food can be 'ashed,' but here are those we like using the best:

- Corn ash is slightly sweet, dark, and a bit creamy.
- Sage ash is peppery and assertive.
- Juniper ash will turn the foods it seasons a dark, inky blue and add a earthy, peppery note."
