Hey @digital_justice_society at past Digital Lounges we’ve some really greate music playing in the background as part of the lounge, which was amazing btw. Such a vibe.
Could we possibly have a way to play music by local small artists and say show on a screen who’s playing and also to have a playlist folks could get if they want.
Imagine if this was just using all open tools or at least a more ethical option that Spotify.
Just an idea, would love peoples suggestions.

Thank you everyone who came to our #DigitalLounge over the weekend.
Big thanks to @rewind who once again generously hosted us at their very nice venue.
We had what felt like 20-30 people come through and we worked with a bunch of these folks 1:1 to install software and adblockers and make their computer setup more private and secure.
We’re also very glad for all the folks who back our vision for a shift away from big tech. Thanks to everyone who’s getting active on Mastodon too!
