The drive from Delhi to Guptkashi takes around 12–14 hours, so travelers often stop overnight in Haridwar or Rishikesh. Roads are mostly smooth in the plains, but hill driving requires extra care. Taking breaks during the journey helps reduce fatigue and makes the road trip more comfortable and safe.

  6. @kedara if you're not already on 15 or 16, upgrade the base OS. STABLE will be better than RELEASE, if you have no special requirement for RELEASE. Use pkgbase.

If you are already on 15-STABLE or 16-CURRENT, you should find that iwm(4) is more stable, but less performant, than iwlwifi(4).

No mention of devmatch_blocklist anywhere in the FreeBSD Handbook or the documentation portal. You'll find it in the third manual page below. Good luck.

  11. What's the fuss about FreeBSD? Read about my first impressions here, after playing with it these past three months on my servers (and, since a few weeks, on my laptop):

  13. Kennards Hire you are out of your fucking minds.

d MMM YYYY format on the booking form.

YYYY-DD-MM format on the confirmation email.

I got the confirmation email and logged back in to fix the hire booking, since I assumed I'd somehow accidentally booked it for August.

Also their booking form doesn't support Firefox. Hopeless.

  14. I'm joining the cosiest café on the web here at bsd.cafe and therefore, it's time for an #introduction

I have many interest, most of which I'll talk about at my main gotosocial account @ruben I'm here to talk about BSD and other tech topics, but feel free to discuss anything else as well!

    I also have a personal website @ kedara.eu where I #blog, tend a #DigitalGarden / #wiki and try to contribute to the #Indieweb #smallweb communities.

It's running on #FreeBSD with a #Caddy webserver. My main #gotosocial account also runs there in a #bastilleBSD jail, together with other #SelfHosted services.

Nice to meet you, have a great day! ✨

"I’ve read the book Indian Philosophy, A Very Short Introduction by Sue Hamilton. I was looking for a good reference book on the various traditions of Indian Philosophy. Unfortunately, I’ll have to keep searching. I appreciate it’s a very tall ask to summarize Indian Philosophy in less than 200 pages, as per the Very Short Introductions format. Sue Hamilton — being an archaeologist — has taken a perfectly valid approach, by (...)"
