While I was in the lab, a visiting researcher was telling an amusing personal story to several of my employees. I wasn’t really listening, but it was convoluted and had something to do with DandD. The she got to the punchline and shouted“Leedsichthys!”
And my employees laughed and laughed!

Last night was the @westernsciencecenter annual fundraiser, Science Under the Stars. Thanks to our amazing staff and donors, who raised money last night to support the museum’s program and research, and to begin upgrades to our Ice Age exhibits!

This Lockheed P-2 Naptune, built in the early 1950s, served with the US Navy for 18 years as an anti-submarine and patrol aircraft, the another 12 years in civilian service as an aerial tanker fighting Forest fires.
