@MollyNoise that's a great point, I've been playing video games since #HammurabisCode in say 1977 and fleshing out the main character in terms of family has never been a focus. "The Player" in #SidMeiersPirates rescues his family members but they only generate information and change the ending, anonymous Avatar in #UltimaUnderworld, orphaned child of a wizard in #BaldursGate , Duke in #DukeNukem who may also be an avatar of violence.

"A Prayer for the Crown-Shy", so. Not sure how to formulate final thoughts, but I'll try.
It's a beautiful fleshing-out of the world of "A Psalm for the Wild-Built", that's for sure. Both human (they've got a favor-based barter system! And their own Amish/Luddite populations!) and robot (they can't really replace things that break down! And are very careful be about not using wildlife!) cultures are developed and gain depth, as Mosscap and Dex travel.

I felt like speed drawing, because this is an area where I need to improve A Lot. And our merdude and his moray are fleshing out as characters. Do they need a hashtag of their own?
(For the numbers inclined - I spent somewhere between 30 and 60s on each of these.)
