I'm slowly moving my cloud data to my Desktop PC. Much of my cloud data can easily reside on my Desktop.
The data I need to reside in the cloud seems to be data that the #BadActors in the #USgovernment and their non-governmental entities (like Twitter DOGE SpaceX Theil conglomerate) probably wouldn't care about.
Obviously, YMMV.

The Bourne Vendetta (2025) by Brian Freeman – The 20th Jason Bourne novel.I’m considering putting this book on my Want to Read list. But I am concerned about jumping into a 20 book series on Book 20. Any advice from a Jason Bourne series reader would be helpful.

I'm an old guy, so I still use a 12-cup coffee maker machine. I make one pot a day, each morning. The coffee maker uses a triangular filter, or a #4 filter. I believe #4 filters allow me to make good coffee but those filters are hard to deal with.
For one, they are hard to separate one from a stack of them.
Two, they are very hard for me to spread apart to stuff into the filter cup of the machine.
Three, who needs that frustration every morning.My rant is over!

"The Nightingale" (2015) by Kristin Hannah is about two sisters and how they participated in the French Resistance during WWII. I gave this book a 5 Star rating because it was just that good. The character development was excellent, as was the storyline. This was the 3rd book I read in 2025.

I won't definitively pin this stupidity on the anti-science conservatives in the US. But I will say, our conservatives aren't exactly smart and will believe anything Dear Leader and his Theocratic Posse tells them to believe.

It makes me sad that the 2025 Idaho #Legislature will likely introduce a Bill that will allow "public funds to be used for private education."
In #Idaho, what the current and future legislature means is they want your taxes to pay for their #religious schools.
As an #atheist, I can see they want to further #indoctrinate their children so they can solidify the #Theocracy they already have in this State.
