I have to recommend another series to you - High Desert. It's on Apple TV+ [I'm on there for Severance until end of this month] and Patricia #Arquette is just nailing it! She plays a middle aged ex junkie/ex dealer [?] living in Yucca Valley, California whose mother just died and she is oh. So. Broke. And mental. She decides to become a PI, is agonizing everyone - and I really don't understand why this beauty of a series got cancelled after its 1. season!
