Almost finished with the first panel of my #crochet #rainbow #hexagoncardigan ! Just need to finish the last round of purple and then I can move on to the second panel. I think I will have to extend the width of the back of the cardigan because I have wide shoulders, and I'll also have to extend the length of the body and sleeves. I think I'm going to keep the kimono style sleeve instead of decreasing into a smaller cuff at the wrist.

由於既有的紙線包包，線材成本就880元，手邊沒有足夠的餘線再打2片格子並重縫整個包包，只訂購新的1捲紙線，加運費感覺不合算。
我現在又正使用棉線在鉤織同樣的祖母格包包（本來是想要比較紙線與棉線做的成品重量和觸感），沒有意外的話可以完成另一個棉線版本的。
我應該在棉線版的做完後，把這個綻開的紙線包包直接丟掉嗎？

悲報！有兩片格子從中心處綻開了，形成破洞……
我以為兩圈的Magic Ring足夠緊密牢固，可以在收緊Magic Ring後直接把線頭剪掉，但看來不行。這些祖母格片中，有些我是直接剪掉線頭、有些把線頭編入第二、三圈的長針裡，但外觀看不出來啊，這讓我現在要補救也滿棘手的。
雖然上次說「如果要賣，我要賣近千元」，但其實後來算算，這個包包用了4捲紙線，每捲紙線220元，再加上另購的背帶，它的材料成本就已經近千元了！但現在要我再買紙線回來補救，我又覺得已經懶了……Orz

But a mere couple of weeks ago I was crocheting in the sun with a mai tai in arm's reach, chatting to a friendly stranger who happened to be knitting on the sun lounger opposite.
I choose to distract myself from current grottiness by remembering this day. Good times, good times 🥹

Quem dinamiza
✨ @autopiadamelancia. Começou a crochetar em 2024 com um cravo (50 anos do 25 de Abril) e seguiu com melancias, símbolo de resistência palestiniana. Nunca cobrou pelo trabalho: todo o valor é doado à Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF); materiais e tempo são custeados por si.
O que vamos fazer
— Pregadeiras/pins nas cores da Palestina (mini ~4,5 cm e normal ~6 cm).
— Para quem já sabe croché (mesmo pouco) e domina pontos base.
— Encontro livre: podes crochetar durante a conversa, partilhar técnicas e histórias.
— Espaço seguro, de luto, memória e comunidade — porque arte também é ação.
Materiais
🔹 Opção 1 (traz o teu kit): agulhas, fios preto/verde/branco/vermelho, alfinetes, agulha de tapeçaria.

Started making a blanket in October 24th 2023.
Just finished it.
Made using crochet with pre-looped yarn and it was my first time using that sort of yarn.
I think that *actual making* was probably 6 - 8 (?) hours, I had ten balls of yarn.
Enjoyed it a lot! Learned quite a bit about stitch directionality and also ways to deal with dropped and/ or extra loops.
