I couldn't resist bringing home this cast iron frog bottle opener, I found at a vintage store, for my #DeckBar. I didn't think at the time how well it would look in my fountain. Few bottles need openers these days anyway but when was does I can ask, "Hey, can you please hand me that frog?" #cocktails #vintage #BarWare -

I had to give up Marvel Snap. As I’ve said many times, the gameplay is near perfect, but my brain does really awful things to me when my only option is to play competitively.
Pro tip: don’t have a bunch of adults put a lot of expectations on you as a child that you live up to or blow out of the water. They’ll expect more and it’ll fuck up your self validation as an adult.
But my husband has been sick this weekend, and we have been isolating. I got bored, remembered to charge my iPad for once, and saw I still had Snap installed.
The game continues to be good. Nothing serious has changed. It now runs in landscape on iPad which is neat. They made upgrades from the shop not totally suck.
But now they’re charging like $25 for emotes?! Which just reminded me of all the things I don’t like about the game.
I had a good time this weekend with it. I got the season pass and cruised through it with some old decks.
But someone’s gotta make another one of these. Maybe I could have spent my time this weekend on that.
