Kleiner Tipp für alle, die wie ich gerne 47 Terminals offen haben und dann den Überblick verlieren: `tmux` ist euer Freund. Sessions überleben sogar SSH-Disconnects – ihr könnt euch also wieder einklinken, als wäre nichts gewesen.
Bonus: `Ctrl+b d` zum Detachen, `tmux a` zum Wiederkommen. Das war's eigentlich schon. Der Rest ist Kür.

After I clone to my media laptop’s new NVME, I am gonna take my friend’s advice to just fully encrypt my next #linux install.
I had to get this machine near the end of uni to run some pretty heavy Windoze-only programs like #maxmsp
Normally, I have tended towards unencrypted installs and encrypted volumes with the private data there. The furthest I have gotten towards full disk encryption on my own is to fully encrypt an entire drive for data.
Why have I gotten into this situation? I have my reasons, but if I am honest, I think they’re weak to be beneath enumerating despite how compelling they have been to me personally .

Linux ist wie eine Katze: läuft meistens stabil, aber wenn sie dich mitten in der Nacht weckt, hat das immer einen sehr spezifischen, völlig unverständlichen Grund.

sshddaemon to listen to a non-standard port, to reduce a lot of noise. Which has worked fine for years. But every now and then there are attempts. All the #Linux kernel flaws found lately has made remote login attempts more interesting for attackers. And they scan much more broadly now than just port 22.And that's why my second line of defence is to disallow remote
rootlogin - and also make use of theAllowGroupsfeature insshd_config. Users granted remote access must be member of a specific group. Androotis also excluded from this group.That pays off these days. And this is a nice filter match for #fail2ban and similar tools

Ich suche immer noch ein "Vorlese"-Tool unter Linux, das mir eine '*.odt-Datei vorliest.
Die "Vorlesefunktion" von @libreoffice ist IMHO mehr als grottig und deshalb nicht zielführend.
