Der Melonenblock scheißt auf den Demokonsens und packt Nationalflaggen aus.
Und jammern dann rum, dass sie ans Ende der Demo geschoben werden.

started playing Vampire Survivors
https://log.melonbread.xyz/game/1kzh5hHrhuFmskC0nH0x3s
I know I am late to the party on this game but after playing the god awful #Medabots Survival mobile game that got a global release a couple weeks back, I figure instead of giving them any of my money it would be better just to buy this game with DLC. And so far I am enjoying it here and there. I kind of wish the game was a bit faster pace or could turn up the speed but aside from that it is pretty solid and get the love for it. Also enjoying the occasional CO-OP run with @[email protected] . -
started reading Project Hail Mary
https://log.melonbread.xyz/book/0Qjq4tZ4aW6NuoTO9vQM0w
So when I first tried getting into reading more books this (along with #FourthWing 🙄) where at the top of SO MANY lists of semi recent books worth checking out. So far it is kinda living up to hype. I am only 3.5 chapters in and I get it. The way it is written, the plot, the (internal mostly) dialogue really smooth and just pleasant to read.
I normally would not bother with the movie that is coming out soon, but my oldest saw the trailer for it and was captivated by it. If it turns out to be half as good as this book is shaping up to be, then we will have quite a good theater experience coming up soon. -
started playing CiniCross
https://log.melonbread.xyz/game/2OrnyPa5YO3gsvnCCcEoXY
Bought this and played the tutorial and it is damn good even if the UI is not the easiest to read at times. It is such a shame it decided to come out the day after #Mewgenics. I fear this great #Picross Roguelike will get lost in the shuffle. If you are not in love with Mewgenics (or want a good game for 1/3 of the price) I suggest you picket it up or at least try the Demo -
stopped playing Nioh 3 🌕🌕🌕🌑🌑
https://log.melonbread.xyz/game/7EaSiblScz2jBnGwU56pBg
[Finished Demo]
I always heard about #Nioh as being a great Soulslike game though every time I looked at it I just kinda saw a lacking imitation. I figured I would give Nioh 3 a shot since it seemed to review pretty alright and there was a demo. Boy was I right on the money, as this game feels like imitation meat being passed off as the real thing. By no means is this game "bad" just kind of boring. It feels like someone who read what a Souls game is on paper and copied it with out what understanding what really makes it. Also get the vibe that they wanted to make a character action game but Nioh is KT's "Dark Souls Series" so they had to shoehorn that in. -
finished reading Sword World 2.5 Replay: Train Travelers! 🌕🌕🌕🌑🌑
https://log.melonbread.xyz/book/0pKmxWa8gD6HPvzILwAe8J
I can tell even through the borderline machine translation this story is kinda dull. The only thing it has going for it is showing off a sample #SwordWorld 2.5 session -
“The Mekong’s Cyber-Scam Crisis”
by Kurniawan Arif Maspul in Savage Minds on Substack
“Detachment is no longer a luxury for any nation, rich or poor, North or South. What is unfolding in Southeast Asia is a warning shot for the entire international system: when digital crime fuses with human exploitation, borders cease to matter, and vulnerability becomes universal”https://open.substack.com/pub/savageminds/p/the-mekongs-cyber-scam-crisis

https://log.melonbread.xyz/book/0pKmxWa8gD6HPvzILwAe8J
Even though the dialogue is rough (no fault of the translation), I am enjoying what I have read so far as how SNE expects a #SwordWorld 2.5 campaign to flow. -
started reading Sword World 2.5: Core Rulebook I
https://log.melonbread.xyz/book/4R9rpIf8clGmIk3nur80in
Really getting into #SwordWorld 2.5 as of late and this a very interesting read as it has everything you would want to know as a Player, GM, or just Lore enthusiast -

Going to run this for my brothers, their partners, and my partners. Have read the first two chapters so far and got them mapped out in #FoundryVTT and wow this is a really really nice set up I get tthe hype around it. It seems to tackle everything you would want in a first good adventure. -

finished playing Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌗
https://log.melonbread.xyz/game/3zKezReQDMSa6qgsdRSbM7
Although the last leg of the game is kinda annoying with how much story they shove into the soccer matches and pretty much forces you to restart the match in the second half, the game still finishes strong.
This game has it all who says 7 years development hell is bad this game is polished and has so much love and care put into it. It is a perfect game for those new to #InazumaEleven or fans form the original series. This game would have scored perfect if the pacing was better in the beginning and story matches where not so heavy handed in the end.
Easily the first $70 game i purchased where I did not regret a single penny spent. I can not explain how much content is in this game. Even though I "finished" (hit credits) I imagine I will still be playing this game for at least a few more days exploring the other modes and collecting characters/teams.
Highly recommend this game as I put it in the same boat as #Pikmin in the sense that there is no other game out there that replicates it and scratches that same game-play itch.
Side note I do not give 2 shits about soccer outside of this game. -
