Been continuing my adventures of building an #ansible role for #microk8s which worked well and got me to a working thing with a giant but involved.
Apparently one can not properly run molecule test scenarios involving snap packages when using containers for testing.
I found https://bugs.launchpad.net/snapd/+bug/1712808 and wonder if testing in containers might simply be impossible.

TIL that running #rke2 on #rhel9 means that I should tell rke2 to NOT use /etc/resolv.conf, as this only contains 127.0.0.1 which means that Google DNS (8.8.8.8) will be used inside the containers...
Luckily NetworkManager has a file with my configured name servers in /run/NetworkManager/ and rke2 has a config option that my #Ansible role supports...

I must admit that I've been "lazy" to learn #Ansible ...
I was maintaining 25 #AREDN mesh nodes all by hand even if I had previously made needed script to do everything. The script was working, but needed tweaking. Tonight I took a shot at tweaking it and make sure that only critical nodes are not updated automatically.
Result is 25nodes updated with only one password input in less than an hour! Not bad!
VE2ATU network is now fully updated to latest release.

When I load the Waveshare dtoverlays and modify the config.txt and cmdline.txt *after* the first boot of a fresh RaspbianOS install, the DPI LCD is not used.
If I load the Waveshare dtoverlays onto the SD card and modify the config.txt and cmdline.txt *before* the first boot of a fresh system, everything works as expected.
Is there some intermediate step happening on first boot?
