Wrapping up day 2 of the #MatrixSummit

This has been one of the most fun community events that I've taken part in - talking #Matrix stuff with smart people is probably my favorite thing to do.

Previously, I've held conference talks about #Webthings which is based on the #WebOfThings. It is an upcoming HTTP standard for making the #InternetOfThings more interoperable.

This year I've been experimenting with #IoT via #Matrix. Yes, that's a lot of overhead, but in some cases you may want the ownership of a persistent log that's encrypted at rest and full-featured access control over who can view and edit the state of your IoT.
I'm preparing a talk for #FrOSCon and the #MatrixSummit.

A the end of the August there are two free #opensource #conferences in #Germany to consider when you want to get a better understanding of the #Matrix real-time communication protocol.
