  1. Why aren't they called Cheekmunks?

  2. 30° (-1C) and a skiff of snow this morning. For a little perspective here is what March 23rd looked like two years ago.

  3. Waiting with a few others outside pharmacy for it to open at 9. Last time a lady showed up and unlocked it from inside about 9:05, so when 9 comes and goes I'm not fretting.
But sometime around 9 I did hear what sounded like a small solenoid. Like, maybe if one were to have an electronic lock. That's silly, the lady unlocks it like always. Eight minutes later, still no lady, I just check and of course it was unlocked electronically.

  4. Sick kid this week meant killing time watching videos. Progressed from last week's NYC fixed gear bike food deliveries into the more intense:

    NYC night group ride

NYC Monster Track Fixed Gear Race
    youtu.be/A5VktTtW0FY

SF Race: Mission Critical 6 | fixedgear
    youtu.be/6lNwi47kiKs

Observations: streets have lots of room for bikes even when clogged w/cars, bike lanes are traps, traffic lights are a mood, there are no rules.

  5. It's been a while. I'd like to say it's the fault of some uninspiring beans, but that's just transference.

  6. I found airtag in the woods a year or two back, but hadn't found a way to repurpose it. Today's the day it got cracked open to see guts. Speculation on details in image ALTs.

Huh. Keating Ford is first in GTE-Am.

Wouldn't have expected that given Jerone's complaints about the pace.

Speaking of which, has Keating gone in the car now? I know he's a decent bronze but he's no Fraga or Bleekemolen That's probably the only reason they're far ahead of everyone else if he hasn't.

  9. Rather surprised to read this (in an article mostly about #Jerome, who translated the bible into Latin):

"He never forgot his first sight of the Attacotti, uncouth natives of Ireland, who sometimes ate human flesh, and had a taste for the buttock-meat of stolen livestock." 😳

No wonder then, that when Jermone made the first mention of the Irish in a vaguely philosophical context, it was as an insult (against #Pelagius ).
