"Why Don't You & I" is a song by American #rock band #Santana. The song was written by #ChadKroeger and recorded for Santana's 2002 album, #Shaman, on the #Arista record label. It was re-recorded in 2003 with vocals by #AlexBand of #theCalling and released as the third single in the United States on June 16, 2003. Both versions of the single charted in the US while the #AlexBand version peaked at number 21 in New Zealand.

It was composed by #GreggAlexander (as Alex Ander) and #RickNowels. The song was released as a #single on September 23, 2002, and won a #GrammyAward for #BestPopCollaborationWithVocals. Commercially, "The Game of Love" peaked at number five on the US #Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Holy crap... This is a guy who’s been in showbiz, in the entertainment industry for decades. He's probably been around gay people, trans people and every other kind of person you can imagine throughout all of that and he starts this shit. It’s just unbelievable to me.
