In 2019 (before BREXIT), the UK was the world’s 10th largest wine exporter (#12 in 2021). It mostly exports bottled bulk to the EU and high-end to Hong Kong and the U.S.. UK’s Post #BREXIT (2021) wine exports to the European Union have declined by $191m or 51% (compared to 2019). Particularly sharp drops in Germany ($56m) and the Netherlands ($51m). Exports to Non-EU countries have stayed flat overall. #winetrade
