Past age 30, this staple continues to hold well and perhaps better than I thought it would. It's on the lighter side in depth and tannins have mostly resolved, but it has a sunny and fresh feel.
On the whole, an easygoing, gentle Bordeaux that is drinking great at the moment. Doesn't seem in danger of dying anytime soon either, but a good time to dive in.
You could probably still get this in secondary markets today for about $75, but I'm not a big fan of backfilling.

It still shows fine depth, grip and length on the finish, and a classic medley of flavors, plus a touch of game. It evolves well.
