Everything in the garden is completely shot after a couple of good overnight freezes. Except the #chard. It just keeps going and going. It's the vegetable version of mint!

Time to clear the #HotPepper plants.
A very good haul of Pineapple and Lemon Aji considering I've already pulled 20-30 peppers from each plant. There are probably twice as many unripe pods still on each plant.
Strawberry Aji were not so productive. They needed a bit more time to bring the majority of pods to full ripeness. The last of the Poblano and Ancho Mulato are in the bowl with the Strawberry Aji.

CW: Cooked Pork Shoulder on BBQ
I love getting results like this while I 🛌💤.
Pork Shoulder smoked overnight with Black Cherry at 210°F until 195° internal. A few spritzes of cider vinegar/water during the first couple of hours of smoking. Rubbed with Memphis Reaper Dust before smoking.
Now wrapped in butcher paper then towels and put inside faux-Cambro to cool before pulling.
Now that's some nice looking bark! 👀🤤

Am now adopting the term 'spruik' to reference *anything* that claims to be the future of the internet. I think it's entirely appropriate to use an archaic Australian slang verb with the meaning:
To spin, pimp, pitch, tout, hawk, as 'those who spruik outside sleazy bars'.

Been reminded (thank you) that I used to occasionally toot about odd items I have around that reflect some of my family history under #MyHistory so it's time for another one!
My maternal grandparents lived in #Plymouth, Devon and my brother and I used to visit every summer. The entrance hallway was typically British with a coat rack, umbrella stand and a wall covered in 'things'. All of which fell into the 'never to be touched' category making them all the more fascinating.
This was one.
