    2 years ago I used OsmAnd (with offline maps feature) while I was deep in the mountains on my own. I could still locate myself on the map even though there was no cell signal that time, not even 2G and maybe not even emergency calls. Fun !

    But yeah it was honestly fun walking around & climbing stuff. It was also quiet and peaceful. It kinda felt weird I was completely cut off from civilization at that point in my life.

    The only thing I had that tie back to civilization was my phone. I could've ditched that completely but then I'd miss all the tasty human foods and my bed...
