  2. Sharing a post from another one of my neighbors (who used to be involved with the #CommunityGarden years ago). One of these days, I'll get back into #HAMRadio.

    "Many thanks to the folks at Dole’s Orchard for inviting us to set up our ham radio stations at the orchard. This is an annual event in North America called '#FieldDay' and its purpose is to practice emergency communications in the event of a disaster. Field Day lasts 24 hours and there were over 6,000 participants. 'When all else fails.' #WinterFieldDay is held at the end of January under much different conditions."
