Spent hours today looking for the following: I have a #Flask app with #sqlalchemy. I use #flaskadmin for a big part of functionality.
I need to pass a custom query for a select field that is a #foreignkey between Table A and table B. I try to accomplish that while being in the list view (the table view) for all entries in Table A, where each record has a foreignkey from Table B to only show those records in the select field for the foreignkey that are B.active==true.Is there a way to do this? -
I finally finished a new post for my blog. Not that it took me so long to actually write it, but more that I couldn't force myself to find the time for writing and then also finishing it!
The post is about an approach to #distribute tasks procession more evenly among users using #RabbitMQ,#Celery and #FastAPI, while staying in #Python. I had not had the chance yet to actually stress test the solution, but so far it seems to work. Please shoot me your feedback/comments!

Really enjoying my #Macbook **Air** #M2, which apart form being fast and all, allows me to finally still my craving for playing #GTA5. Was struggling a bit to set it up initially, but the #gameportingtoolkit makes it run like a charm. Doesn't even pull that much battery: Played an hour last night on battery with Low Power Mode *disabled* and only dropped to 75% (Maybe this only shows that I used a battered #T450 for the last years?!)

some notes of mine, on upgrading/transitioning alembic to an async set-up and what I'm especially proud of, on how to differentiate the environment for alembic in a, in my opinion, most easy and concise way:

Sunday night and Monday were spent on sqlalchemy and alembic and async stuff. My dream in the night from Monday to Tuesday were very sqlalchemy intense. That work will probably result in one or two blog posts about my findings :) Let's see what tonight's dream bring.

loving this small little tool since I discovered it yesterday:
https://github.com/zevv/bucklespringWith headphones on, I only hear the nice surround buckle spring sound, while writing on my laptop keyboard. Makes for a really nice change

If I were to again take notes and write down my field studies, like I did in university, I would definitely use #obsidian . I'm using it now to write down my personal stuff, but I don't even use half of it's possibilities. Linking files and blocks in other notes, canvas, etc look incredible! Definitely a tool that's helpful for #socialsciences #anthropology #fieldstudies
