I just confirmed that an internal battery from a ThinkPad X240 will fit in a ThinkPad T450, if you flip it upside down.
In an X240, the print with the Lenovo logo and battery information is up and you can see it. When putting the same battery in a T450, you can't see that info (just the black underside of the battery, as shown in picture).
The battery works and shows up in a battery test.

Hace unos meses comencé a notar ligeros y muy esporádicos destellos desde algunos puntos del borde inferior (tipo los reflectores de la cortinilla de la 20th Century Fox). Comienzan a ser más frecuentes.
¿Qué tan factible/caro será repararla?

Really enjoying my #Macbook **Air** #M2, which apart form being fast and all, allows me to finally still my craving for playing #GTA5. Was struggling a bit to set it up initially, but the #gameportingtoolkit makes it run like a charm. Doesn't even pull that much battery: Played an hour last night on battery with Low Power Mode *disabled* and only dropped to 75% (Maybe this only shows that I used a battered #T450 for the last years?!)

Rapid KL has extended the bus service for route #T450 from 30 September 2023 onwards.
This #bus route was originally plying between Beranang and Bandar Kajang, it now go up to Stadium Kajang #MRT Station.
This is good news for people in #Beranang, #Semenyih and #Kajang as the local bus service now directly connects to the #metro system that you don't need to transfer to a different bus route to get there.

Este #ViernesDeEscritorio sí hay un cambio importante en mi #ThinkPad #T450: ahora funciona con #KDEneon y ha sido para bien, tengo la estabilidad de #UbuntuLTS con las últimas novedades de #KDEplasma.
La transición fue bastante limpia y rápida, digo que es importante porque no soy #DistroHooper, llevaba 10 años usando #Kubuntu.

¡Por fin! Tenía que ser en #DíaDelNiño... Luego de un año posponiendo la subida de versión del SO en mi servidor casero (una #ThinkPad #T430), hoy se concretó... Fue menos traumático de lo que temía, esta vez me decidí por #Xubuntu :xubuntu: 22.04 LTS. La captura la tomé desde mi laptop #T450, mediante VNC con túnel SSH

@minino kauf dir vielleicht ein gebrauchtes #Thinkpad der X oder T Reihe (nicht die anderen Reihen). Wie gut Minecraft darauf laeuft weiss ich nicht, eher etwas niedrigere Einstellungen, weil Minecraft doch ein bisschen was braucht an Power.
Auf ebay kannste Thinkpads kaufen, denke #X240, #X250, #X260 oder #T440, #T450, #T460 sind gerade die Modelle, die vom Preisleistungsverhaeltnis am besten sind. Wenn du guenstig #X270 oder #T470 bekommst ist natuerlich auch gut.Vor allem sind diese Modellreihen zu empfehlen, weil sie historisch gute Qualitaet hatten (wie das jetzt bei den neueren Modellen ist wird noch drueber diskutiert, hat aber nachgelassen) aber vor allem, weil auf ebay immer groessere Mengen verkauft werden, die von Businesskunden kommen und nach wenigen Jahren ersetzt werden.
