@aramba I'm glad I've always had phones¹ from which I can simply take out the battery. (Not that I ever do, unless it's stuck in a reboot loop. But I like the possibility being there.) Though I'd much prefer the main system (on which I can run free software) to control the mobile network unit, rather than vice versa, and maybe a hardware switch for flight mode (wired such that software can't override it).
