@palomakop First attempt at creating something similar to your #weekOfPatching #day1.

For aNa, I have to code each filter. This allows me to determine the basic behavior, the patching and the way how the parameters can be tweaked.

First: Top down the filter nodes
Then: Result in the mixer
Last: A scanner sending the HSV values of 2 areas via OSC

Not implemented yet the #SuperCollider part. @draco explained to me how to connect audio filters correctly. My SC code needs correction

this kinda feels like cheating, because it’s not a creative patch, but here’s my #day1 of #weekofpatching. my day & night got away from me, & after a relieving session w/ this 9volt-battery-powered TENS unit i got from a thrift store a couple years ago for $5, i was about to force myself to exhaustedly do a musical patch. then i realized—wait—i’d just patched myself! i was using the TENS for first time in a long time because these pin-to-snap lead wire adaptors and new electrodes arrived today.

First night of Week of Patching put on by @palomakop now in the books. @voxelith and I have decided to collab for the week. We will be working in VCV Rack. Tonight we did an ambient patch. This one has been titled "Vestiges."

For #weekOfPatching i work with visual signals running through a filter chain. Patching is done by connecting the filters by code. It is a live coding system for routing the signals and tweaking the filters. Additionally #SuperCollider is running in the background. But the focus is on manipulating visuals.

#day1 is a little bit minimalistic. More Baroque-themed pieces will follow in a few days.
