Lokjo is a map in a website. There is no app needed.
Which means you can use it on every device and every operating system. No installs, no updates, no data capture, no nothing.
Just open a browser and there you have it.
p.s. For quick access just set your language, navigate to your city and then add a link to your desktop.

An interesting comment from a local shop owner in Berlin which I had a chat with.
"During corona it showed people do have interest in supporting local shops. The conclusion -after calculating- is that if every person uses only 3 local shops to buy their things at, then local shops can survive.'
This is just great, and another reason why the idea behind Lokjo is 'on the point'.

On the Lokjo map, when clicking the blue Quick button, there's about 60+ different categories for local shops to search for your needs.
There's more to find through the regular search.
I'm working on a fix for some missing ones, which should be done in the next weeks.
If anything isn't there, just let me know.
p.s. Lokjo comes in english, spanish, french, dutch and german language.

I think 2 years ago I've posted this rough idea as a solution for the draughts in Catalunia, asking if anybody knows an ingeneer etc and to pass the idea on. Maybe it worked!

If you're on an osm-map (like ours) you can improve shop-information on https://streetcomplete.app , or https://www.mapcomplete.org or -if you have an account- on https://OSM.org
OSM maps are up to date because of nearly 1.6 million active people doing exactly these things.

Any 'center' newspaper who is talking bad -in any way- about solar panels is a newspaper depending on income from (US) investors who make money with gas/oil/coal, and obviously not being neutral.
It's not a 'newspaper' it's an 'advertisement paper'.
I though in 2025 this would be illegal but here we are. *looking at the thermometer*
