Morning Folks. After a week where I just could not figure out what game I wanted to play... I finally landed on #GuildWars2 over the weekend and had a lot of fun catching up. I got to the new zone, tamed a cute bee pet, and then started working on my next legendary farming, on a world exploration, and a gift of battle.

Y'know... I really like how the Mistwalker's Infusion looks with the charr jedi fashion I did for my guardian, however...
It looks like shit when you look at the toon from the back, since back pieces like the cape from this hood set aren't affected by infusions' effects. Only way around it, from what I can tell, is to go with a white dye scheme with some glowing effects built into the dyes, like the celestial and permafrost dyes.
The other downside to running this infusion is that it makes you an even bigger target in WvW groups, especially when you're playing a large charr running as a support firebrand. I swear that running in a less flashy fashion gets me picked off less often... lol

the matchmaking did a bit better this week. i still have no ocx coverage, but EB has been active since i woke up.

the other maps aren't, so I don't think we have enough active players. but this is true for all three teams.

In the early days of WvW, I think they were doing 24h match resets?

I was initially on Sea of Sorrows, and we'd fight [RUIN] on Eredon Terrace.

The population balance was poor. SoS was meant to be the Oceanic server, so the NA/EU coverage was just not there.

I don't know if coverage would have helped anyway; [RUIN] is Ruin Gaming, one of those big multi-game clans. They had TONS of people playing GW2 at launch and could always bring huge numbers to bear.

@gw2bot Hah. I wonder what they'll do with those who exploited this bug, especially since it was in #WvW, which is important for the #guildwars2 team.

There are bugs that are fine to be exploited, like the plague in #WorldOfWarcraft which turned into a pandemic across all servers (I was one of the first few who discovered and exploited it, LOL). That's something who don't ban people because it's harmless.

But, bugs like this which affects core game mechanics? It's bannable. I wonder how #ArenaNet will handle this one.

What a lovely exchange in #GuildWars2. They invited me to their group and we killed a lot of player characters. I did my best, and sometimes, it was good! But after killing around 7-10 players in #WvW , I lost count, i felt so terribly spent! Of course the "who is the oldest gamer debate" got launched... ;)

Today in #GuildWars2 I captured my first World vs. World camp solo while actively fighting another player and won. I am Bronze Tier and the defender was Silver Tier... feeling unreasonably accomplished. #gw2 #WvW

i'm at 820 pips and only 2 of these.

they need to make the range for defense events way bigger if they're gunna add tickets for this.

After doing my amateurish roaming thing, I got to Platinum chests in #WvW in #GuildWars2 which is a first. Also, I kinda feel kinda wealthy? And I got to kill an enemy character who was maybe slightly overconfident, which worked to my advantage.

there's no reason to defend anything else. PPT for more pips? nah. i'll get more tickets defending SMC. let everything on home BL flip so i can get it later for the weekly :V

I played the new #WvW of #GuildWars2 for a bit, got killed a lot, did some damage, found out zerging isn't that fun, but the rewards my friends, the REWARDS... I made 3 WvW ranks just casually running around and I THINK I'll be going for the heavy legendary WvW armor next. I need, among other things, at least 651 Skirmish Claim Tickets. :) #gw2
