My YT 2025 Recap just hit this song that I replayed a lot earlier in the year when I heavily revisited Word Party.
I so very much love World Party's 1993 album "Bang!"
And "Is It Like Today?" is just such a peak song.
I'm pretty sure this was the song I first heard from them.

I was shopping at the local grocery store, which is small and locally-owned, but that carries lots of healthy options, including local produce and a small organic section. The lack of pretension there makes me comfortable shopping in my pajamas and wearing my mask (several of the employees always wear masks). I froze in my tracks when this song came on the piped music. Not sure how I feel about #WorldParty being part of the piped music industry, but on the other hand, it pleased me to hear this song at the store...

So, until I get #PeerTube figured out, I'll be using YT for a while longer. And to commemorate everyone standing up to #Fascism, my goal tomorrow (Friday) is to upload a rare version of #WorldParty's #TheBalladOfTheLittleMan that was made into an "age-restricted" video (which requires YT registration to view). If that doesn't work, I might try another platform (Vimeo or DailyMotion), but I'm sure due the controversial nature of the video, whatever platform I use, it probably won't stay up long. If I'm successful, I'll post the link using the hashtags below.
