  1. Geesh. Here's my social media life. I go onto FB to see how a local election went, and got distracted by a DM from #PeterKoppes from #TheChurch. And yeah, I know #MartyWilsonPiper and #SteveKilbey as well. And Steve and I have shared "A Quick Smoke At Spots" as it were...

  3. New #review today: "When I think of my favorite bands of the 80s, I often forget #TheChurch, which is a shame given how good they were — and still are, I guess. But The Church by itself can’t contain #SteveKilbey’s prolific songwriting, and he’s worked in a long-standing duo with #MartinKennedy, whose solo project #AllIndiaRadio we’ve covered previously." #ExposeOnline #KilbeyKennedy #ArtRock expose.org/index.php/articles/

  4. The Church were heavier than expected last night. "Tantalized", "Grind" and "You Took" were scorchers. "Metropolis" is still beautiful and the new songs all sounded great. Steve Kilbey: "This may be the last time, who knows? I'm turning...40 next year." #thechurch #stevekilbey

  5. Can’t say I like the new single by #TheChurch. Between the lack of dynamics in the vocals (even for #SteveKilbey) and the soulless programmed drums, it sounds like a demo that should have been left on #TheHypnogogue’s cutting room floor

  6. #NowPlaying The Church, "Gold Afternoon Fix". I have a strange relationship with this one, as it was my intro to the band, but was also hamstrung by the fallout from the colossal success of the preceding album "Starfish". Some killer songs, though; the closing "Grind" is still a huge favourite. #TheChurch #SteveKilbey
