Someone from my company needs SSH access to some special, new machines hosted by a service provider. So, how do you securely exchange SSH keys?

The process that the nontechnical people came up with:
The service provider creates an #SSH key pair and sends us the private key via e-mail.
But they don't want to send over the SSH private key *unencrypted* via e-mail, that would be insecure. So someone should generate a #PGP key pair, send the public key to the service provider (via e-mail), who would encrypt the SSH private key with it and then send it via e-mail.

I can't decide whether I should be rolling on the floor laughing, crying in a quiet corner of the office or banging my head against the wall.

I had to change my Windows/laptop enterprise-managed password this morning. I think I am up to about 10 times where I have had to enter my new password on a device or application, each time requiring an authenticator verification. At least I get to remember my new password.

I have a co-worker who is on a solo crusade to eliminate abbreviations from written language. I am new employee who has to ask every time I encounter a new abbreviation in a field I have not worked in before. Stay tuned this solo crusade may shortly turn into a dynamic duo of just-write-it-out crusaders. #work #WorkStories

Just got sent the most beautiful bunch of lovely flowers as a thank you for a workstream I've been involved with this year and it has honestly cheered me right up and leaves me smiling every time I walk past them on the bench 😊🥰 idk what it is about flowers and bouquets but they really are gloriously delightful!!

Have had a work thing the past two days, which has been fantastic EXCEPT for the dude who:

➡️ made disparaging remarks about his wife in some lame attempt to be funny

➡️ put down a female team member for "going on" about a topic she was interested in

➡️ made an off-colour remark to me only to be shocked when I responded in kind and took it to the next level.

Turns out, we all thought he was kind of a dick and thought the less of him for his behavior.
