My formative years were '85-'92 in #Philly #WestPhilly I would _love_ to see old footage from that era. There were only a handful of clubs. But the warehouse/squat scene was vibrant and brought a lot of great music to my ears.

I’m Brendan. I live in #WestPhilly, where I freelance as a #Chinese to English #translator while looking for a better way of keeping ribs from meeting spine. I escaped a #PhD and somehow still enjoy early modern Chinese fiction / #明清小說, as well as #cats, #villanelles, and a wide variety of #nouns. When I see #hashtags interspersed with text, I automatically read them in an obnoxious #JerryLewis voice.
