Autumn Traditional Tie Guan Yin from Verdant Tea (2022). OK, I shoulda maybe drunk this sooner, but slightly vintage teas have their own subtle charms.

A new tea this morning. Fall is a good time for trying back teas. I'm mostly a green tea drinker but the cold mornings require some additional kick!
This is Spring 2022 #QuanzjiaZhai sun-dried #BlackTea. Grown by the ZhenYuan Dongsa Cooperative in #Yunnan China

Okay, after the Oolongs I’ve been drinking I was not ready for this months teas.
Starting off with SEMI-WILD SHI, FENG DRAGONWELL
Wow, okay this smells like cooking spinach. I can only imagine it’s probably healthy as heck, but oof I’m struggling here. Ended up dumping half my first steep and going with a much lighter second steep. Third steep still has that spinach essence going, but it’s settled a bit.
