It is so unbelievable how certain Leftists who were swearing loudly in January that they had kicked the #VBNMW habit are now drinking and swallowing the Vote Blue Kool-Aid even stronger with the switchover from Biden to Harris.

As if anything will fundamentally change.

It's true. People did say "money can't buy happiness" a lot when I was a kid. Those of us on the wrong side of social inequality have always recognized this for the bull$#!t it has always been.

My problem is I keep hearing people say #VoteBlueNoMatterWho (#VBNMW ) as if this ever had any chance of changing a thing in a constitutional oligarchy. At the other end, I hear people calling for a #GeneralStrike or #Revolution without anything ever coming of it. Plainly, none of this is productive.

So, what, seriously, are we doing about it?

Elections in this year 24 will be a choice between pest and cholera. While US citizens might profit from a better choice (I heard you #VBNMW guys), I think internationally the impact of US politics will rather be negative anyway (no doubt that "negative" has a very large range).
