These aren't finished but they're coming along. The bird I did a couple of weeks ago. The others happend this weekend.
There's one more model in this crew, iykyk. But I'm excited to play them, they have such a fun sounding rulesset 🙂

One of our local game shops is kicking off the year with a painting comp. I've never entered one before so I thought I'd give it a shot!
I picked Slynk Skittershank as my entry and I finished getting the base colors down tonight.

Yesterday kid and I did some painting and had a great fun time. This work in progress progressed a bit more 🙂
I think some of the pieces I made a light cloth type colour are "supposed to be" metal. But that's the fun of it. I can paint them any colour I want. And make them wear cloth instead.
(at least I hope I can. They're not done yet 🤣)

I think these are done now. Don't know what I'll #paint tomorrow. Maybe I'll just take a break.
The only team I have primed now is another stormcaster team and I'm not really in the mood to do more of them.. It's too cold and wet out to prime anything new.
But I am surprised how much more I feel like playing these now that they're painted..

I've been #painting every day this week and I'm really happy about finishing this team. It's not my best ever paintwork but the entire point is I had a lot of #fun painting them and tonight they were such a joy to #play!
On the boxart they're all spooky smoke and magic but I imagine them more like tolkiens ringwraiths.. Just the crowd you don't want to meet on a field in sunset..

I got an impulse to paint and couldn't help myself.. This team is one of the first I ever got for #warhammer #underworlds and it's been primed for a couple of years 😆
Am I winning any competitions with this? No
Is this my best work? No
Was I supposed to be painting tonight? No
Am I happy I did it? yes -
Played a nice and very even game of #underworlds emberguard today. It was exciting right until the very end. But the most important part was both of us agreed it's way better than 1:st edition.
Not going back if I can help it..I have some hype for buying and painting more teams over the winter though 😊

Took a break from school. I've had the greatest restrain not to take out and build the new warbands from #warhammer #underworlds emberguard before today. But I have plans to play with a friend today and built them just now. They went together mostly without glue.
They will not be painted until I'm done with school in a couple of weeks..

These folks got their first game today as a fully painted team. Last time I posted them they hadn't had their bases done yet. I think they turned out great. Got compliments on them too 🙂
I also printed a card holder today because keeping two hands in your hand is too much and you don't really play these cards so much as you just have to remember what they say 😅

I haven't painted a #minature in sooo long. But I've played a couple of ganes over the last couole of weeks and got inspired to finish this #underworlds team before my next game. After having painter 1,5 models in about 6 months I did 2,5 tonight 🙂
They just need basing now 👍
