2025 was heavy on 40k and Blood Bowl when it came to painting for me, so I wanted to put a little more attention back towards AoS in 2026.
Over the weekend I got hit by a desire to paint some Seraphon, which I don't have a lot of. I started painting Klaq-Trok from the Starblood Stalkers in a starborne colour scheme and he's come together nice and quickly for a first attempt at this scheme.
Plenty I'd do differently (and better) next time, but I'm pleased with it.

So, for the longest time I really haven't liked how my custom beastie looked with the Saurus and saddle. I thought on it for awhile, and have come up with a solution. I have many extra skinks, specifically the Terradon/Ripperdactyl skinks and have added three to the back. The leader wielding and axe while the two in back throw spears at foes.

And he's done! The most venerable Lord Ger'See of the Southlands, bane of chaos, eater of insects, very round boi, starmaster of the seraphon.
Probably about 10 hours of work, and I was suffering from detail fatigue nearer the end. It's a massive centerpiece model and I love it.

A little work on my first Skink for my Spawn of Chotec. I am going for an "Ash & Ember" look for the body, and for the back feathers attempting a "candle" look. The hope os that it will eventually look similar to hot coals with flames coming up from it - but we'll see if I can achieve that or not. Still really early on.
