Some times I bring a light out to take close up pics and some times I don't. But it can make a huge difference to an image. This isn't even one of my fancy temperature controlled lights, but just a cheap noname #flashlight.

Found a flower on the balcony, ate banana chips with chopsticks. All in all a good morning so far!

These are som pictures from yesterday. What strikes me most about these tiny grey/brown/drab birds eating the seeds of vivid purple flowers is just how effective their camouflage is. A little bit of a spotty shadow on them and they just disappear. Also there's a bee because you know I can't not shoot a bee 😅

Played with some lights and perspective tonight with the 10mm and the chillis. They've got plenty of flowers now but we'll have to see if they get any fruit. I was really just playing around but I like the last one where the flower looks like a tiny lantern.

I brought my camera to work today. It's been a while since last time I did this because I don't really have a photo friendly job. But I knew I'd be out and about some today and decided to bring my "flower lens" instead of my "bird lens".

I did go out for lunchbreak today. But my best pictures are from coming to work in the morning. Some one had dropped several slices of bread on the ground and birds were hovering.

Day two of #lunch time #camera walks at work. Last time I brought the zoom lens and shot birds in the sky. Today I brought the wide angle and started to realise this is maybe not the best time of year to start this habit.

Todays images are hidden because one of them is a #selfie with eye contact. The other is a thing on a twig I spotted.

(my watch says it was -4 with a "feels like" of -11. I'm not sure about that.)

I took a short camera walk on my lunch break today. It's been lovely cold but sadly that also means almost no wildlife to pose fo photos.

These four #gulls drifting on the wind though. Three of them seem almost like yungsters, and one has clear adult feathering.

They were way too far to see this but the images zoom well enough. It's been just as grey as the cloudy background sugests.

They seemes to enjoy the wind. I enjoyed the walk.
