Do any British pub experts know anything about a Race Horse Inn that was once in, or relatively close to, Ulverston in Cumbria, UK?
I have a photo of it that I can't share, but it's front door was elevated from street level with symmetrical staircases (of around seven steps) left and right to access it.
Its landlady was once Agnes E. Brocklebank, and at some point it appears to have been tied to Bass, but my usual searches have yielded no results.

Two #swans in #Ulverston #Cumbria Northern #England got stuck in a #canal #drain overflow - a woman in late middle age (who was already well known for feeding them) took to her #canoe and succesfully hauled them out!
