Really torn on which version of #SevenSamurai #UHDBD to pick up! https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=376924&page=16The CC has better subtitles and cleaned up scratches, but no HDR. The BFI has HDR DV and slightly better sound and compression. What to do? Need some better comparisons.

On top the transfer is only affected by AI trickery to a lesser extent! This just moved from no buy to must buy! The film haven’t had its original soundtrack for 25 years ! I think I last saw the movie 15 years ago. #physicslmedia #hdr #4K -

Watched my #Prey #physicalmedia #uhdbd #4K #hdr yesterday and it is a significant upgrade in comparison to the streaming version. Micro details gets a huge boost, like if you shoot on your camera in a codec with less compression, which is of course exactly what it is. Colours and shadows are also vastly improved. So, erste Folge von House of the Dragon durch. Und: es ist zu Dunkel! Mit HDR. Wenn selbst Flammen abgedunkelt werden. 🤦♂️ Und warum ist das Artwork auf den UHDBDs eigentlich immer so schlecht? Übrigens ist der Xbox-Series-X-Player bei der ersten Folge abgeschmiert. Ich kaufe mir glaube ich bald einen Standalone-Player… #4k #uhdbd #gameofthrones
