Movie night at home last night. Sometimes a lighthearted, feel-good story is needed. It’s been ages since I last saw 'A Knight's Tale' (or 'Ritter aus Leidenschaft' to name the German title), and I have to say, it still holds up remarkably well. Plus, the 4K transfer is really good.

This looks and sounds stupendous. The soundtrack sounds a lot more detailed compared to the audio on the old BD. Brilliant film as well of course.
I got the Italian release since it has all the extras from the US disc as the only one in the EU.

#physicalmedia #hdr #uhdbluray Just had a look at both. Se7en looks like I remember it from the cinema rerelease. Compared to the BD it has better contrast, colours and shadow details. The soundtrack is also better mixed. The opening credits doesn’t sound like they were recorded in a church. It does look a bit oversharpened and DNRed at times, but overall an upgrade. The steelbook is nice and all the ratings logos are stickers that come off nicely.

Stil impressed by this feature on my Aliens BD. I don’t know of any other discs that can display a picture when the disc is out of the player. 🤔
