So I was happy to discover that the app Downie (https://software.charliemonroe.net/downie/ #MacOS) in addition to letting me grab videos off YouTube, also allows me to grab them off Twitter, which is a feature of #Twitteriffic I’d been missing.
That’ll be worth the purchase price alone. -

I’m sad that I found out only because of #twitteriffic’s demise.

I am currently still using #Ivory as my main client on iOS
I am not sure where this will end up but it is exciting to see where these all go over the next couple months and what ther #fediverse features they will start to pull in. With the removal of #twitteriffic yesterday, it is nice to see all the good alternatives for the future

After yesterday’s sad news that #twitteriffic for iOS and MacOS have both been discontinued, I felt now was an appropriate time for me to set up a Mastodon account.

Deleting #twitteriffic made me sadder than I thought it would be. Elmo killed it already but it had been a part of my social media life for so long. I guess I thought that it would rise again. 🍻to a well loved app killed by imbeciles.
