Last week, ROOTS deputy speaker Johannes Müller attended the annual conference of the Ukrainian History Global Initiative in #Kyiv. He took the opportunity to meet colleagues from Ukrainian institutions in order to plan future research projects. Since 2012, there has been close cooperation between archaeologists in Kiel and Ukrainian scientists, for example in researching the oldest European agricultural cities, the so-called #Trypillia megasites.
