Die #BVG schreibt gerne, daß das #Straßenbahn-#Liniennetz 320 km lang sei.

Das stimmt auch, weil Streckenabschnitte, auf denen mehrere Linien verkehren, entsprechend mehrfach gezählt werden. Die physische #Netzlänge (= #Streckennetz) beträgt aber nur ca. 200 km.

Man könnte auch nur 3 km #Tram haben mit einem einzigen Zug und den über den Tag alle 5 Minuten unter 288 verschiedenen Linienbezeichnungen fahren lassen und schon hätte das Liniennetz 864 km 🙂

Mehr als das bisherige Maximum von 634 km Streckennetz (also echte Netzlänge) im Jahr 1930.

Ja, eine #Tram ohne separate Gleise kann hier und dort im #Stau stecken. Ist aber nicht zwangsläufig so, da es auch viele Straßen gibt, wo es sich selten oder nie staut.

Das ist so schön praktisch an der #Straßenbahn: Sie kann je nach Örtlichkeit eigenen Platz beanspruchen oder auch nicht oder sich in Ausnahmefällen sogar den Platz mit dem #Fußverkehr teilen, wie z.B. auf dem #Alexanderplatz in #Berlin-#Mitte oder hoffentlich bald durch den #GörlitzerPark in #Kreuzberg.

- Treppen, die nicht jedeʔr nutzen kann,
- Rolltreppen, die nicht jedeʔr nutzen darf und
- Aufzüge, auf die man warten muß und die oft verdreckt oder kaputt sind.
