I already posted this in my gamedev.place account, but (strangely) i got very few responses (2 favorites and 1 reply, to be precise).
I am trying to learn about the real-life experiences of solo or very small game devs using the monetization sites nowadays. Places like #opencollective , #patreon , #kofi , #buymeacoffee , #kickstarter . There are some articles comparing these but they just dont have that authenticity a real user projects. Hoping to at least have a conversation about these if nothing else. Thanks!

The nice thing about #totalconversion #modding is you can quickly clone the files you need from the base game, then take it from there. Saves time not only in writing out the files, but also ensuring you catch all inter-file dependencies 👍
