Looking through an old zine by #TomSachs. This zine was bought from a repurposed ATM inside of Yerba Buena Arts during his Space Program: Europa installation. Insert credit card, accept a $5 charge, then it prints out a long receipt that can be folded into a #zine.

Tom Sachs is a unique artist whose philosophy and ideology are reflected in his aesthetic. The materials he uses, such as plywood, impact the design and utility of his objects. I admire his skilled use of plywood for its versatility and ability to express oneself. I often wonder what the digital equivalent of this familiarity with a material might be.
