リバー、流れないでよ River (Yamaguchi Junta, 2023)
Fun and entertaining, the film explores and plays with the time loop's trope in a very inventive, satisfying, and never boring way. Great performance in the lead role by Fujitani Riko.
A plus for me were the ryokan setting, and the snowy landscape.
Not visually, but for the story and how to the main character is depicted, it reminded me of some Ōbayashi's movies from the 1980s.
