確切來說是
概念藝術大家托瑪斯．德曼Thomas Demand用紙製作的金條，再照相製作成的巨幅影像作品。

牽涉到攝影，常常就陷入真假謬論。

其實「逼真」是假議題

如果有一位畫家將眼前的風景畫成速寫，這會比用手機拍下來的照片"不逼真"嗎？

速寫會喚起心裡的情感也說不定。

不論是速寫
還是雕塑
還是雕塑後再照相
這都是藝術家經過思考後形成的一連串選擇。

托瑪斯．德曼為何大費周章用紙將歷史事件建模再拍照？

我們可以大膽猜想藝術家

1/他很閒沒事幹
2/他選擇這個慢慢製作過程作為他的生活方式

不論哪一種，這些介於真實與虛構的作品載入了他撿拾起的歷史切片，激起了觀眾的柯南心

Looking through a book of #ThomasDemand #photographs I came across this (oddly) eerie piece from 1995: Archive.

If you don't know, Demand makes cardboard models of scenes before the photographing them (often reproducing photos from German history).

This reminds me (a bit) of the final shot in Raiders of the Lost Ark when the crate with the Ark disappears into an endless warehouse.

Here, our records are stored in an endless archive, to who knows what sinister ends.
